Box St. All Day: Your New Favorite Cocktail Bar and Brunch Spot in San Antonio

Came here for girl time and was a good choice - a lil boujee but worth it because the food was delicious. We had the Twice Fried Wings and the flavor was immaculate. Sweet and savory. The potato flautas were crunchy, could use some more meat but the dressing was good. The verde sauce was spicy but delicious. Lastly we had the bean and cheese empanadas which honestly changed my perspective on empanadas, so so good. Didn’t get to try a main course plate so deff will go back just to try some other food. Oh - and I had an espresso for the first time and I’m obsessed now Staff was friendly even thou we arrived 1 hr 1/2 before closing. The inside is very cute and great for pics with friends.

Amaaaaaazing place we took brunch, everything taste woowww try chilaquiles with chorizo, thick pancake taste exactly like a cake with a crispy crust, place was pack and devices was quick outdoor seating recommended, it, giving a Keik Restaurant vibe from Miami. Ask for server Jesse he’s so great.

First time here!!! Brunch was an amazing experience. Hannah, our server, was so calming, knowledgeable, and anticipated every need! Will definitely request her next time! We had the chilaquiles and French toast. 100/10. Espresso martini was also delicious - not too sweet which I prefer. Vibe was dope - great music, decor, and service. Thank you Box St!

The service was great, as busy as it was I’m surprised we were seated so fast. We started off with an appetizer, the bean and cheese empanadas. When I return I’m definitely ordering those again!! We also ordered the chilaquiles with panko chicken and the cubano sandwich DELICIOUS!! Food WON, it was so much!! I couldn’t finish it but I was happy to know I was going to have something to look forward to for leftovers. I highly recommend.

Box Street All Day Brunch is definitely a spot to consider when you’re craving brunch or a fun, unique coffee drink. I tried the Cinnamon Toast Latte, and it was surprisingly delicious — sweet, creative, and a great twist on a classic latte. Upon arrival, the first thing that stood out was how cramped the dining room felt. It was quite crowded, and seating felt tight, almost like people were right over your shoulder, which made it a bit uncomfortable. That said, the restaurant itself is very clean and has a fun, modern café vibe with a touch of retro soda-shop charm. The food overall was very good, especially considering we had a large party and most everyone enjoyed their meals. My personal experience was mixed — the smoked salmon presentation was a bit underwhelming, and the hash browns tasted like they may have come from a bag rather than being made fresh, which was disappointing for a brunch spot. The highlight of the visit was the service. Miranda was absolutely outstanding — friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional while managing our large group with ease. She truly made the experience better. Overall, it was a good experience with some standout positives, especially the drinks and service. I’d consider returning, perhaps at a less busy time for a more comfortable visit.

I was visiting family in San Antonio and they took us here!! and wow, easily some of the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. The pickled onions and salsa macha took them to another level. The coffee was also really good, and the service was amazing even though the place was packed. You can tell they really care about the experience. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town!

I'll admit, the greeters had us a little worried about the friendliness of this establishment -- HOWEVER, JESSE (our server) more than made up our first impressions. This was a super cute dining experience and the food was absolutely delicious (see photos ). If you can, ask for JESSE. He was so kind and helpful with the menu suggestions, as it was our first visit! Ladies Restoom: Clean & comfortable!

Great experience. Came recommended by a friend for brunch as I was just visiting. The toast was very wide but ultra soft almost like angel food cake. The salad had a light lemon vinaigrette and paired well with out breakfast selections. The Eggs Benny had an excellent texture and flavor. Another in our party got the chilaquiles, but I wasn't so brave. I need to go back later to try the lunch and dinner options!
